Traders who execute trades themselves on the platform (i.e. who do not use trading robots to execute trades) can use either MT4 or MT5, and there is a considerable support network built around each platform, though they are well known as automated trading platforms (another way of saying this is that they are well known as a Forex trading platform, and thus support different ways that traders use to approach this complex market).
