Both brokers offer both MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) and let the trader use Expert Advisors (EAs) which are automated trading strategies executing trades on behalf of the trader (robots). RoboForex also provides MetaTrader 5 (MT5, MT4's successor), cTrader and R Trader, all of which also allow the trader to use and build trading robots.

Each has ECN trading accounts and both offer Cent accounts, which let the trader trade with trade sizes smaller than micro lots and both have a very low minimum deposit (Cent accounts mean that the trader can potentially trade with smaller account sizes). Both brokers offer Stocks CFDs (when a trading a CFD the trader does not own any Stocks) but RoboForex can provide many more.
