NSFX and Titan FX Comparison

Both of these brokers provide ECN trading accounts. NSFX provides ECN conditions for a higher minimum deposit, but offers fixed spreads on MT4 for a lower minimum deposit. Titan FX provides variable spreads, which can be ECN with a commission added or higher with no commission charge, for the same minimum deposit. Both offer MT4, while NSFX also provides JForex.

Both brokers allow scalping, hedging and EAs. NSFX is regulated in Malta by the MFSA. Titan FX is regulated by the VFSC in Vanuatu.

Both offer MT4 ECN trading. NSFX has a higher minimum deposit for ECN trading, either on MT4 or JForex, however its Fixed Spread MT4 account has a minimum deposit closer to Titan FX.

Minimum deposit and account types

The minimum deposit for NSFX is $300 and the minimum deposit for TitanFX is $200.

  • NSFX offers three account types. These are the MT4 Fixed, MT4 ECN and JForex accounts. The minimum deposit for the MT4 Fixed account is $300, the minimum deposit for the MT4 ECN account is $3,000 and the minimum deposit for the JForex account is $5,000.
  • NSFX's MT4 Fixed account does not charge commissions, the MT4 ECN and JForex accounts do. On its website NSFX provides Trading Central along with analysis, news and an economic calendar and the NSFX academy which includes an FX Video Course, Trading Examples and Guides and a Forex eBook. Hedging is allowed on all three account types but only on the MT4 ECN and JForex accounts are EAs enabled and scalping allowed. An Islamic account is available.
  • Titan FX offers the Zero Standard STP account, the Blade ECN Zero account, an Islamic account and the Active Trader Program. Hedging, scalping and EAs are allowed for all account types. Titan FX offers markets analysis, economic news, self improvement articles for a 'Forex Lifestyle' and an economic calendar. Titan FX uses Equinix's NY4 New York Data Centre.
  • Titan FX's Standard and Islamic accounts do not charge commissions, the Blade ECN account does charge commissions.
  • Titan FX's Active Trader Program provides a dedicated relationship manager, segregated client accounts, advanced reporting, custom solutions, virtual server hosting and aggregated anonymous data (AAD).

  • NSFX's MT4 ECN and JForex accounts charge commissions of $8 per lot round trip (equivalent to $4 per lot per side).
  • Titan FX charges a commission of $0.035 per 0.01 lots (i.e. $3.50 per lot) per side (thus $0.07 per micro lot round trip) on the Blade ECN account. Titan FX says that it approximates the USD charges and has a monthly review of these approximations for other account currencies.
