Broker to Trading

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is an online trading platform offered by a wide range of brokers. MT4 allows the trader to trade based on their own charting analysis, executing their own trades and lets traders use or build online trading robots to trade for them.

Olymp Trade is a broker offering options trading as well as trading with Multipliers on a user friendly online trading platform. Olymp Trade used to offer MT4, however it currently does not.

MT4 offers more than Forex, typically a range of markets which can vary depending on the broker. Olymp Trade provides more markets than Forex, including Commodities, ETFs, Stocks and Cryptos (these have lower Multipliers).

Olymp Trade's platform, while it does offer Forex trading, does not allow the use of robots (computer programs executing automated trading strategies). The trader does not need to trade with robots when using MT4, it has a wide range of indicators, which can be added on to or even built by the trader, and other charting tools.

However robots are an integral part of MT4. Robots on MT4 are called Expert Advisors (EAs). Brokers may provide some for free, but they are available for download, normally for a fee. If the trader learns the MQL4 programming langauge, they can modify or built EAs for themselves.

Olymp Trade does not offer MT4. Thus if the trader wants to trade on this platform and to use robots (which are not allowed on Olymp Trade's platform), then they will need to sign up with another broker. MT4 is offered by a wide range of brokers.

However if the trader wants to trade on a user friendly platform, with a minimum trade size from $1 and a minimum deposit of $10, then they can try Olymp Trade's platform. The platform supports different types of trading, including Forex trading with Multipliers up to 500x.
