eToro and FXTM Comparison

FXTM divides its range of accounts into two types, those with instant execution and those with market execution. Its market execution accounts are ECN accounts, do not requote, allow scalping, hedging and EAs and offer both MT4 and MT5. Its instant execution accounts may requote and provide MT4. eToro on the other hand offers one platform, its web trader (with apps). This platform has a range of tools based around social trading.

While FXTM supports trading automation using EAs, and by virtue of its ECN order execution policy (which is no dealing desk), FXTM also supports automated trading by copy trading, where the trades of other traders can be copied in the client's own account, via FXTM Invest. eToro provides copy trading on its platform and enables the trader to inform their trading with the views of traders, by a social news feed and use charting and other tools to analyse markets. They can also invest thematically, for example in cryptocurrencies.

Both brokers are regulated by the FCA in the United Kingdom and the CySEC in Cyprus. eToro is additionally regulated by the ASIC in Australia. FXTM is additionally licensed by the FSCA in South Africa and regulated by the FSC in Mauritius.
