  • NSFX offers three account types. These are the MT4 Fixed, MT4 ECN and JForex accounts. The minimum deposit for the MT4 Fixed account is $300, the minimum deposit for the MT4 ECN account is $3,000 and the minimum deposit for the JForex account is $5,000.
  • The NSFX MT4 Fixed account does not charge commissions, the MT4 ECN and JForex accounts do. On its website NSFX provides Trading Central along with analysis, news and an economic calendar and the NSFX academy which includes an FX Video Course, Trading Examples and Guides and a Forex eBook. Hedging is allowed on all three account types as is micro lot trading but only on the MT4 ECN and JForex accounts are EAs enabled and scalping allowed. An Islamic account is available.
  • USGFX offers four account types. These are Mini, Standard, VIP and Pro-ECN. The minimum deposit for the Mini account is $100, the minimum deposit for the Standard account is $10,000, and the minimum deposit for both the VIP and Pro-ECN accounts are $50,000. The different account types can offer lower spreads, with the lowest available on the VIP account. UGSFX support social and copy trading via ZuluTrade and Myfxbook. All account types have a minimum trade size of 0.01 lots.
  • USGFX provides Trading Central, the Recognia Trading System (which offers trading ideas), analysis, an economic calendar and an Education Center on its website with webinars, seminars, a trading guide and Blog and contests. A minimum deposit of $10,000 provides access to the Trader's Club which offers features including personalised coaching, market research and commentary, premium trading tools and services and structured education.

Commission charge

  • NSFX's MT4 ECN and JForex accounts charge commissions of $8 per lot round trip (i.e $4 per lot per side).

Those who want to trade on MetaTrader 4 (MT4) may do so at either broker. Traders who want to trade on MT5 (the successor to MT4) can find this platform at USGFX. NSFX however offers JForex, which supports automated trading and is a relatively user friendly platform. To trade on its Classic account which offers fixed spreads on MT4, NSFX has a higher minimum deposit than USGFX ($300 vs $100). However to trade on its ECN accounts, NSFX has a considerably higher minimum deposit ($3000 vs $100) than USGFX.
