Markets.com Offers Bitcoin Futures CFD Trading

CFD broker Markets.com is now offering its traders Bitcoin Futures CFDs, which are based on CME's Bitcoin Futures Contract.

What is Bitcoin Futures ?

Bitcoin Futures is a Futures Contract provided by CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) Group. A Futures Contract is a derivative product which in this case is based on CME's CF Bitcoin Reference Rate (BRR) for the underlying asset.

What Markets.com is offering is a CFD (a further derivative product) based on CME's Futures Contract. No wallet is required to store the CFD (or for that matter the underlying Futures Contract). The trader owns neither the contract nor the underlying Bitcoin asset and it is possible to go long or short.

Where does the trader trade Bitcoin Futures CFDs ?

Bitcoin Futures CFDs can be traded on Markets.com's platform. This has an elegant design, and a relatively wide range of technical indicators (90) and chart price types. The platform includes tools such as Events & Trade (for news trading), Daily Analysts Recommendations, Insiders' Stuff and Trading Central.

What is Markets.com's minimum deposit ?

The minimum deposit for Markets.com is $100.

What other markets are available at Markets.com ?

Markets.com offers over 2000 CFDs, covering Forex, Indices, Metals, Energy, Soft Commodities, Stocks, Cryptocurrencies, ETFs and Bonds, in addition to Bitcoin Futures. Markets.com provides 50+ Forex pairs. As CFDs, the trader does not own the underlying financial market, but speculates on price movement of the market.

Does Markets.com offer more Cryptoocurrencies ?

Markets.com offers Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash and Dash CFDs in addition to Bitcoin Futures.

Can Bitcoin Futures be traded at 24/7 ?

Bitcoin Futures can be traded Sunday 2300 - Friday 22.00 GMT (with a break daily 22.00-23.00). However Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple can be traded 24/7 (a break in trading may occur on Sunday due to maintenance). This is because the underlying Bitcoin Futures contract is not traded 24/7, while the underlying Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple cryptocurrencies are traded on exchanges 24/7.
