Quick comparison

UFX offers crowd trading on ParagonEx and MT4. Z.com Trade is an ECN MT4 broker.

Why choose one over the other ?

It depends on the type of trading the trader wants to do. UFX is suited to those who wish to augment the discretionary trading experience, where the trader makes the trading decisions, with data from the crowd. It does this by providing a news feed which has market news data referenced to what other traders (the crowd) are doing with this news.

Z.com Trade is focused on providing an environment conducive to automated traders, as it offers MT4, ECN trading conditions and infrastructure such as the use of Equinix infrastructure, to aid in high speed order transmission. In addition it does not restrict trading styles.

However discretionary traders can use MT4 as well, and if they do not wish to trade with a commission charge account, can use Z.com Trade's Classic account, with variable spreads without a commission charge (this uses Equnix servers like Z.com Trade's other accounts). It should be added that UFX offers MT4 as well, but it is not an ECN broker.
