AAAFx and USGFX Comparison

Both AAAFx and USGFX offer trading on the MT4 platform. AAAFx also provides the ZTP web trader (USGFX has an MT4 webtrader and MT5). Both aim to provide fast ECN caliber execution.

USGFX does not charge Forex commisisons, and its lowest spread is on the account with the highest minimum deposit. AAAFx has one account with a relatively high minimum deposit, which has lower commission charges. AAAFx is regulated by the HCMC in Greece. USGFX is regulated by the ASIC in Australia.

ECN conditions

AAAFx charges commissions for Forex and its other markets. USGFX does not charge Forex commissions, but does charges commissions for its CFDs. Both offer ECN caliber trading conditions.

Minimum deposit and account types

The minimum deposit for AAAFx is $300 or €250 or £200 or ¥35,000 or AU$370. The minimum deposit for USGFX is $100.

  • AAAFx additionally provides an Islamic account. For deposits higher than $100,000, AAAFx offers Institutional accounts, which have lower commission charges.
  • USGFX offers four account types. These are Mini, Standard, VIP and Pro-ECN. The minimum deposit for the Mini account is $100, the minimum deposit for the Standard account is $10,000, and the minimum deposit for both the VIP and Pro-ECN accounts are $50,000. The different account types can offer lower spreads, with the lowest being available on the VIP account. All account types have a minimum trade size of 0.01 lots.

Leverage and spreads

Maximum leverage for AAAFx is . USGFX's maximum leverage is 500:1, except on the Pro-ECN account where it is 100:1.

  • Spreads at AAAFx are variable and are from 0.2 for EUR/USD, 1 for UK100, 0.34 for Gold and 0.05 for US Oil.
  • USGFX offers variable spreads. On the Mini account, EUR/USD is from 2.8, on the Standard account EUR/USD is from 2.2, on the Pro-ECN account EUR/USD is from 1.5 and on the VIP account EUR/USD is from 1.3.
  • USGFX offers Gold spreads from 0.50 on all accounts except VIP, where they are from 0.36. US Oil spreads are from 0.027, plus commission.

Commission charge

  • AAAFx charges a commission of $10 per lot per side for Forex and $8 for CFDs. It is possible to request no commissions trading, with a resulting increase in spreads. The Institutional account charges commissions of $3 per lot per side for transaction where USD is the currency base.
  • USGFX does not charge commissions for Forex or Precious Metals. It does charge commissions of $5 per lot per side for CFDs.
